Our additional processes grinding<\/b><\/span> and eroding<\/b><\/span> complement the CNC spectrum of Wefo-Tec. This is how we realize the tightest tolerances and finest surfaces<\/b><\/span> – economically, reliably and documented. <\/p>\n

With the surface grinding (pendulum grinding)<\/b><\/span> the grinding wheel oscillates over the workpiece at high speed. This process is ideal for flat surfaces with minimal dimensional, shape and position tolerances. <\/p>\n

The eroding<\/b><\/span> – whether wire-cutting or die-sinking – is used when conventional processes reach their limits. Conductive materials such as aluminum, steel, copper or brass are processed contactless<\/b><\/span> and with minimal thermal influence<\/strong>. This ensures virtually free shaping. <\/p>\n

The surface grinding<\/b><\/span>also known as pendulum, surface or peripheral grinding, is used at Wefo-Tec specifically for the highest surface requirements. The grinding wheel moves back and forth over the workpiece at a high feed rate and removes material during both movements – in synchronous and counter-rotation. <\/p>\n

This process produces flat surfaces with the finest surface quality<\/b><\/span> and minimal dimensional, shape and position tolerances. This makes surface grinding ideal for components that require maximum precision and repeat accuracy. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
